Francis has contributed framed paintings to various good causes over the past few years. "Love Hurts" was sold at auction by the National Breast Cancer Research Institute while "At The Hop" was auctioned to raise funds for the survivors of the tsunami in Sri Lanka. In 2003 he designed four original Christmas cards which were sold to raise funds for the Galway Parkinsons' Society. The cards sold widely over three Christmases. In 2007 he designed a Christmas card for CancerCareWest. He has also contributed original canvases for auction to Galway Cat Rescue and East Galway Animal Rescue.
